Fields of Activity

Since 1997Research associate at the Aerial Archive of the Department of Prehistoric and Historical Archaeology, University of Vienna, in data base-driven mapping and interpretation of aerial photographs within a GIS program.
1980-2005 Participation in and Co-Director and Director of excavations in Austria and Italy, among others Sabiona/Säben, I (DFG - Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft), Bischofshofen, A (University of Vienna), Hallstatt, A (Naturhistorisches Museum, Vienna).
1991-2001Participation in projects of geophysical survey at IDEA / VIAS (Vienna Institute for Archaeological Science, ZAMG (Zentralanstalt für Meteorologie und Geodynamik, University of Vienna) and the Department of Prehistoric and Early Historic Archaeology, University of Vienna.
1993, 1997, 1998 Tutor for Training Excavation and Lectures (‘Geophysikalische Prospektionsmethoden' and ‘Einführung in EDV für Archäologen’, Univ.-Prof. Mag. Dr. W. Neubauer) at the Department of Prehistoric and Early Historic Archaeology, University of Vienna.
