Biography

Graduated from archaeology at the University of Ljubljana. Since 2012 enrolled in a PhD study program at the University of Ljubljana (dissertation title: “The use of 3D documentation for archaeological analysis of standing vernacular architecture”). Between 2012 and 2014 participated as a junior researcher in the project “Contributing to preventive archaeology, innovativeness, development and presentation” (CONPRA) and between 2011 and 2015 participated in various 3D recording projects for Vienna Institute for Archaeological Science (VIAS) and Ludwig Boltzmann Institute for archaeological prospection and virtual archaeology. Since March 2015 employed as a research assistant at Austrian Academy of Sciences, Institute for Oriental and European Archaeology (ÖAW, OREA) project “Go!Digital: Digitizing Early Farming Cultures” (DEFC) in the framework of Digital Archaeology research group and since April 2017 employed as a research assistant at University of Vienna, as a research assistant on Interreg project Iron-Age-Danube, Monumentalized Early Iron Age Landscapes in the Danube River Basin.

 

Academic Interests

3D recording techniques in archaeology, vernacular architecture in Kras region, Slovenia, data management in archaeology.
